To our valued clients and partners worldwide,
As the Spring Festival approaches, the entire team at *ZHONGTANG* extends our warmest greetings to you and your family. May the Year of the Horse bring you strength, speed, and success in all your endeavors!
Mill Operations: Annual Maintenance in Progress
Please be advised that **most Chinese steel mills have commenced their annual Spring Festival shutdown** starting this week. Production lines are gradually winding down, with full resumption expected after **February 24, 2026** (the 8th day of the Lunar New Year).
This traditional break is essential for equipment maintenance and allows our steelworkers to reunite with their families after a productive year. **Inventory remains available**, but immediate mill-to-order production is temporarily on hold until operations restart.
Ports & Logistics: The Final Sprint
Our logistics partners at **Tianjin, Shanghai, Rizhao, and Guangzhou ports** are currently operating at full capacity to clear shipments before the holiday closure. We are working around the clock to:
- Load all vessels scheduled for pre-holiday departure**
- Process outstanding documentation and customs clearance**
- Secure berth slots for urgent shipments**
*Please note that port authorities will suspend most loading operations from February 16. Vessels arriving during this window will experience berthing delays.*
Our Commitment to You
**We are not fully closed.** Our sales and logistics teams remain on-call throughout the holiday to:
– Track your ongoing shipments
– Coordinate with terminal operators
– Prepare post-holiday rolling plans
– Respond to your urgent inquiries
If you have cargo currently at port or vessels approaching Chinese waters, **rest assured we are monitoring every movement** and will keep you updated on any schedule changes.
Looking Ahead: Pre-Book Now for March
While production is paused, **we are already accepting orders for March 2026 shipment**. Early booking ensures priority mill allocation once operations resume. Contact your account manager to secure your positions.
